19 year old Aubrey from Angono, Rizal is currently studying at Far Eastern University. Her hobbies include Muay Thai, playing badminton and reading books.
“I want to be the next face of JRP because I believe in my capabilities and I trust myself and all that I am. I know that there is something inside of me that is greater than anybody else. With all the good and the bad experiences that I’ve had in my life, I still have my unshakable smile that I know will make an impact on people around me to look up to me as an inspiration.”
Abby is 15 a year old student from Bacoor, Cavite. She enjoys cosplay, modelling, reading and listening to Japanese music in her spare time.
“I want to be the next face of JRP because I think I am deserving, not only because of my pretty looks, but I also want to develop my skills and to enhance my personality.”
Ira is a 19 year old student at the University of Philippines Diliman. Originally from Quezon City, her interests include courtside reporting, writing and, of course, modelling.
“I want to be the next face of JRP because I believe in what it advocates and what it stands for. I am all about empowerment. I believe everyone should have it within.”
16 year old Angela from Paranaque City is a student who enjoys cheerleading in her spare time. She also has a creative streak; she likes to film and edit videos.
“I joined the Face of JRP Contest simply because, this is me being one step closer to my dream. This is me striving and actually doing something to be able to reach my dream. Because if you really want something, you have to go through all the ups and downs just to reach for that dream of yours.”
Frances is an 18 year student from Cainta, Rizal who is currently studying at De La Salle University in Manila. Her talents include dancing, singing, cheerleading and she has a keen eye for fashion.
“I want to be the next face of JRP because I want to inspire and be inspired, I want to show how everything is not always from the outside appearance but also from how well our character has shaped us as an individual.”
18 year old Jade from Manila is currently studying BS Computer Science at the University of Santo Tomas. Her hobbies include swimming, reading, playing guitar, dancing and modelling.
“I want to be the next face of John Robert Powers because I want to be an exemplar to the present youth and tell them that there is no need for them to conform to the restricting standards of society because being themselves is what defines their humanity. They should not just exist but live their life learning more than what they know, enjoying every moment of their lives, and taking risks by not fearing the consequences of failure. They should stop doubting their worth, criticizing themselves and simply say that they can take life’s challenges.”
17 year old Gab studies BS Human Ecology at the University of the Philippines Los Baños. He is a theatre activist and stage manager but also enjoys acting, singing, dancing, painting and composing music.
“By being the next face of JRP, I can inspire fellow teenagers in discovering their inner potential and to instil in them the ideals and principles of the institution.”
Karl Anthony Digno
Karl is a 19 year old student from Quezon City. He is pursuing his BS Tourism Management at Far Eastern University and loves to play tennis in his spare time.
“I am the Face of John Robert Powers because I am proof that ordinary people can make extraordinary things.”
20 year old AJ from Bacoor is studying BS Civil Engineering at the University of Santo Tomas. His hobbies include playing badminton and modelling.
“It’s always been my dream to be a Celebrity-Engineer and this competition is a big step toward that dream whether I win or not. I also want to prove everyone who bullied me that I can make it to the top regardless of my skin color.”
Bryan G. Santiago
Bryan is an 18 year old student from Manila. He is pursuing a BS in Hotel, Restaurant & Institution Management with a Major in Culinary Arts. He also enjoys modelling and playing volleyball.
“I would love to be the next Face of JRP because I’ve always wanted to venture into modelling and I believe that through JRP, I can grow and mature holistically not just as an aspiring model but also as a person. It would mean the world to me, really.”
Aaron Nicklaus King
19 year old Aaron from Manila is currently studying BS Civil Engineering at De La Salle University. He participates in the Civil Engineering Society and is a Legislative Assembly representative in the Student Government. His favourite sports are basketball and boxing.
“I joined the Face of JRP Contest to prove to myself and to others that vertically challenged people can have a role in the modelling industry. Though the concept may not yet be that accepted today, this could change that stereotype and hopefully inspire others to be more confident about their physique.”
Alphonsus Martin Castaneda
Martin is a 19 year old student from Pasig pursuing his BFA Visual Communication at the University of the Philippines Diliman. His hobbies include basketball, drawing, painting and playing video games.
“This will give me a good amount of exposure and can set me on the right path. I want to learn how to project myself as a very relatable ambassador for the audience of JRP. And with the help and guidance of the people from JRP, I believe we can all achieve that.”
